Server updates

  1. 8 updates

    1. Balance

      Party EXP bonus

Hunting in a party now pays off: every party member within range gets +10% EXP for each extra member (2 players: 110%, 8 players: 170%). This stacks with the +500% EXP rate.

    2. Balance

      New level EXP table

The EXP needed for each level has been rebuilt. Levels 54 and above no longer hit a wall: for example 56 → 57 now needs about 13.3M EXP instead of 46.5M, and 64 → 65 needs about 57M instead of 482M. Combined with the +500% EXP rate, leveling from 50 to 72 is several times faster. If you already had more EXP than your new level needs, you will level up on your next kill.

    3. Balance

      EXP rate: +500%

EXP has been raised again: monsters now give 6x experience (normal EXP + 500%, up from +250%). Solo and party hunting, mining and pet EXP all benefit. Event and quest rewards are unchanged.

    4. Balance

Monsters wait for you to attack first

Monsters on every map are passive again: they will not attack until you hit them, then they fight back. This reverts this morning's change that made them aggressive.

    5. Balance

      Monsters attack first

Monsters across the whole server are now aggressive: they will attack you when you get close instead of waiting to be hit. Trees, chests, traps and event objects are unaffected.

    6. Balance

      Melee range against monsters halved

Melee attacks and melee skills now need you to be about half as close as before — no more hitting monsters from far away. Big bosses can still be hit from their edge. Archers, mages and PvP are unchanged.

    7. Balance

      EXP rate: +250%

Monsters now give 3.5× experience (normal EXP + 250%). This applies to solo and party hunting. Event and quest rewards are unchanged. Also fixed a bug where EXP Seal could give the bonus twice.

    8. Balance

      Cospre items last much longer

All cospre items now have the maximum duration. Tattoos no longer expire after a single use. Items that already ran out need to be obtained again.
