Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the VintageKo game server, this website, the forum and the Power Up Store. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.

1. What VintageKo is

VintageKo is a free, non-commercial, fan-operated Knight Online server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the publishers of Knight Online. All game assets, trademarks and artwork remain the property of their respective owners. The service exists for personal, non-commercial play.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal

guardian, to create an account.

• You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, including

actions taken by someone you gave access to.

• Keep your password unique to VintageKo. We will never ask for it in game, on

Discord or by email.

• One person may hold several accounts, subject to the multi-client limits in

the server rules.

3. Rules of play

The server rules form part of these terms. Breaking them may result in a chat mute, the removal of items or points, a temporary suspension or a permanent ban, at the discretion of the moderation team and in proportion to the behaviour.

4. Knight Cash and purchases

• Knight Cash is a limited, revocable licence to use a virtual item inside

VintageKo. It is not money, not a security and not a deposit, and it has no value outside the server.

• Knight Cash cannot be exchanged for real currency, transferred between

accounts, or sold to another player.

• Purchases are processed by third-party payment providers. We never receive or

store your card details.

• Delivery is automatic. If a payment succeeds but nothing arrives within 24

hours, open a ticket on the support page and we will deliver it or refund it.

• Because delivery is immediate and irreversible, Knight Cash that has been

spent is not refundable, except where the law of your country requires it or where the item was never delivered.

• Knight Cash is forfeited on a permanent ban issued for botting, exploiting,

real-money trading or payment fraud.

5. Chargebacks

A chargeback filed instead of a support ticket suspends the account until the balance is settled. If you think a charge is wrong, write to us first — we would rather refund you than argue with a bank.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post on the forum, in your profile and in chat. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, store and moderate it inside the service. Do not post content you do not have the right to post. We may remove content that breaks these terms, the rules, or the law.

7. Service availability

The server is operated by volunteers on a best-effort basis. Maintenance, downtime, test-realm wipes, event changes and rate adjustments can happen, and announced changes are published on the news page. There is no guaranteed uptime. If we ever shut the server down, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance and stop selling Knight Cash immediately.

8. Liability

The service is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost items, lost progress, lost Knight Cash, data loss, or any indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on the news page at least 14 days before they take effect, and playing after that date means you accept the new version.
