Repeat offences escalate. Manipulated national points are removed in every case.
Server rules
These rules apply to every account, character and clan on VintageKo. They are enforced by the game masters and the moderation team, and they apply equally to every player regardless of play time, clan or spending.
A sanction is issued against the account, and where the behaviour was shared, against every account that took part.
1. Automation and third-party tools
- No bots, macros, auto-clickers, packet editors, speed hacks, memory editors or
any program that plays the game for you. This includes leaving a character attacking, buffing or looting while you are away from the keyboard.
- No modified client files beyond cosmetic replacements that do not change model
size, hitbox, effect visibility or terrain.
- No tools that reveal information the client does not show you: invisible
players, respawn timers read from memory, or other players' positions outside your own screen.
Sanction. First detection is a 7-day suspension plus removal of every item and coin produced while botting. Second detection is permanent.
2. Multi-client
- Up to two clients per player at the same time. The second client may not
take part in any national-point activity.
- Only one character per account per battlefield. Logging a second client
into Castle Siege War, Border Defense War, Lunar War, Juraid Mountain or Chaos Dungeon breaks this rule even if the character stands still.
- Feeding kills, farming your own national points, or holding a flag with an
idle second client is point manipulation. It is treated as fraud, not as a multi-client warning.
Sanction. 3 days for the first offence, 30 days for the second, permanent for the third. Manipulated national points are always removed.
3. Names, clans and profiles
Character names, clan names, clan tags, forum signatures and avatars may not contain:
- Profanity, slurs or sexual content in any language, including deliberate
misspellings and leetspeak.
- References to protected characteristics used as an insult: ethnicity, faith,
nationality, gender, sexuality or disability.
- Impersonation of staff — names containing GM, Admin, Moderator or Staff, or
any name shaped to look like a staff account.
- Real-world politics, violence, or another person's private information.
Sanction. The name is reset and the account suspended for 24 hours; a second offence is 7 days. Clan names are reset without a refund of the renaming scroll.
4. Exploits and bugs
- Using a bug for profit breaks this rule even if you did not create it: duping,
stat or skill desync, wall and terrain clipping, teleporting into or out of a battlefield, selling to an NPC at a wrong price, re-rolling a reward through a crash, or farming a boss through geometry it cannot path through.
- Finding a bug is not a violation. Reporting one is rewarded. Open a ticket
on the support page with the steps to reproduce it.
- Do not publish a working exploit in chat, on the forum or on Discord before it
is patched.
Sanction. Permanent suspension and removal of everything the exploit produced, including items traded onwards to other players.
5. Trading and account security
- Real-money trading is forbidden. Selling or buying accounts, characters,
items, coin or Knight Cash for real currency — or trading them for goods and services outside the game — is a permanent ban for every account involved.
- Knight Cash is bought only through the official packages. Codes or
top-ups from resellers are void and the resulting items are removed.
- Do not share your account. An account is sanctioned for what happens on it,
and a shared account that is stolen will not be restored.
- Scamming through a trade window, a fake escrow or a false clan bank is theft:
items are returned where possible and the scammer is permanently suspended.
6. Chat and conduct
- No harassment, threats, stalking, or publishing another person's private
information.
- No advertising other servers, selling services, or recruiting by whispering
players who did not ask.
- No spamming trade, shout or clan chat, and no macro-driven chat flooding.
- Arguing with a game master in public chat does not change a ruling. Open a
ticket instead.
Sanction. Chat mute from 1 hour to 7 days, escalating to account suspension for threats or doxxing.
7. Appeals
Every sanction can be appealed once through the support page within 30 days. Appeals are reviewed by a staff member who was not involved in the original decision. We will tell you which rule was broken and what evidence was used; we will not reveal detection methods or the identity of a reporter.
Evading a ban with a new account voids the appeal and makes the original sanction permanent.

Report or appeal
Sanctions are appealed once, within 30 days, by the account that received them. Bug reports and scam reports go through the same queue.
